COVID-19 Romania RECORD Patients admitted to Intensive Care

The COVID-19 pandemic brings us a new worrying record, and this is because more and more patients are hospitalized in intensive care, reaching too close to the maximum limit available for treating people infected with the new very dangerous virus.

The number of patients hospitalized in intensive care after being infected with the new COVID-19 has increased constantly in recent weeks, and this in the conditions where the authorities have tried to convince the world to protect themselves more and more.

"In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 13.200. Of these, 1.250 are hospitalized at ATI.

Up to this date, at the national level, 4.097.782 tests have been processed. Of these, 16.225 were performed in the last 24 hours, 9.877 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 6.348 on request.

On the territory of Romania, 48.541 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 11.978 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 69.194 people are in home quarantine, and 68 people are in institutionalized quarantine."
