Coronavirus: The first data on Immunity after Vaccination

Coronavirus Immunity Vaccination

Vaccines against the Coronavirus have begun to be administered to people from various countries around the world, whether we are talking about China, Russia, Great Britain, and not only, but many questions have begun to arise regarding the period in which the antibodies generated by the vaccine remain in the body.

It seems that in the case of the vaccine that will be administered in Europe, i.e. that of BioNtech Pfizer, it is about an immunity that lasts at least 4 months, according to current data, and this is because that is how long it has passed from the tests until now, and the antibodies are in the subjects' bodies in large numbers, so it is possible that the immunity will be long-lasting.

"In general, we cannot transmit an infectious disease just by being a passenger of a microbe. I cannot enter, if today I come into contact with a confirmed person with Covid-19, I cannot immediately transmit it to another person, I must first make that infection, during the incubation period. It's good to avoid speculation, but what I can say at the moment - and we have definite data, we have data 4 months after the first dose where the antibody level is very stable - it will probably be a durable immunity."
