Huawei is one of the largest mobile phone manufacturers in the world at the moment, and we are talking about hundreds of millions of units sold annually by the Chinese company, managing to surpass Apple. Because a lot of phones arrive, Huawei also provides service for them, and one of the problems faced by many customers is the scratching of the screen, or of the glass cases used by the company.
Huawei has filed a new patent to solve problems with scratched screens and cases, with the Chinese company describing a process by which they could be repaired, presumably without a trace. Those from Huawei have found a very interesting method that involves the use of a special solution over the affected screens, together with a film to cover it, and this would solve the problems with the scratches that appear on people's devices.
Huawei: SURPRISE Solution for a Phone Problem
Huawei created a special solution made of 35-45% acrylate, 50-60% epoxy resin, plus an initiator and other additives, this will be applied on a transparent foil, which is then glued over the screen, or case, with problems . In order for the repair to be complete, those from Huawei also use ultraviolet light to heat the respective solution, and thus the user is left with a screen without scratches, but which also has additional protection from that film.
Huawei there could be a solution here for many of the customers who have scratches on their screens and cases, but as the patent shows, everything requires the use of special equipment. This means that it will be necessary to send Huawei phones to special centers of the company, or to special centers of its partners so that the repairs can be done without problems, so things are not quite as simple as they seem.
Huawei has registered this patent in China for the time being, so it is not known if the solution will ever be used at least there on a large scale, and then including in other countries around the world.
