Today the Ministry of Health asked the vaccination centers all over the country to speed up the appointments for the vaccination of medical staff, so that in the next period the vaccination of the elderly or those with chronic diseases will also begin.
Although more than 20.000 vaccinations should have been done every day in the whole country since Monday, such a pace has not yet been reached, although the authorities are very close, with more than 17.000 done only yesterday, an increase compared to the previous days.
"The Ministry of Health urges the vaccination centers to accelerate the schedules for the immunization of staff from Stage 1. In this way, we will be able to start Stage 2 earlier, when people with a high degree of risk and workers in essential fields will be vaccinated.
Don't worry: even after the second stage is started, workers in Stage 1 will still be able to get vaccinated."
