Telekom: ATTENTION! MAJOR change from March 1 in Romania

Telekom has officially announced a very big change for customers all over Romania starting on March 1st, here's what you need to know now.

Telecom March

Telekom is still one of the largest providers of telecommunications services in Romania, having almost 10 million customers in all market segments in which it is active now. In the second part of January, Telekom officially announced a very important change that they are making for all the millions of customers in Romania, more precisely a price increase for all the services they offer in our country now.

Telekom says that from March 1, all its television, fixed internet, and mobile or landline services will increase by 0.42 euros, or 2 LEI, a modest increase, but necessary to support the services. This is the third, if I'm not mistaken, increase in as many years, those from Telekom being forced to adjust their prices for services in order to be able to offer clients the quality they expect when they use their infrastructure.

Telekom: ATTENTION! MAJOR change from March 1 in Romania

Telekom he started notifying his clients in January about this contractual change that he is making starting on March 1st, and it affects a lot of people. Telekom says that it has 8 million contracts for individual or legal customers that are affected by this price increase, so we are talking about a lot of money that will reach the company's accounts every month based on this important change.

Telekom he did not say this very clearly in the press release in which he also announced the changes for customers, but anyone had 30 days to unilaterally cancel the contract if he did not agree with the changes. Of course, an increase of 2 LEI in the monthly price is not exactly such a significant change that people start giving up subscriptions en masse, but even so, some were unhappy because of this change, especially in a pandemic year.

Telekom it is trying to offer the best services to Romanian customers, even if it has sold the fixed services division to Orange, but so customers should not have a price increase after they get there.
