WhatsApp continues to have surprises revealed for users all over the world, and now we're talking about another secret trick in phones, and that's because probably no one knew about its existence. Apart from those who check the WhatsApp application to discover internal changes made through code changes by the company's engineers, the rest of the world can hardly realize what news is being implemented, and this is one of them.
WhatsApp has implemented in the application for Android a function that allows viewing Instagram Reels directly in conversations if a direct link to the respective recording is shared. Instagram Reels is a clone of a functionality from the Tik Tok application, those from Facebook have been implementing it for some time, and it was hard to believe that any WhatsApp user could realize that they can be seen in conversations in this way.

WhatsApp however, it wants to expand the functionality for the application offered for iPhone phones, so that it will be available for them soon, as it is currently under development. This means that anyone who has a direct link to an Instagram Reel, and sends it in a conversation to another person, will be able to see that short video directly in the conversation interface, as well as the interlocutor who receives it, and for some this functionality could be quite useful, in the end.

WhatsApp it has been able for some time to play certain types of video materials, especially from YouTube, but now the functionality is being extended to other online services, which is not such a bad thing. It's hard to say how many people would actually need such functionality within the WhatsApp application, but Facebook wants to offer it, probably to convince people to use Instagram in the conditions in which Tik Tok is growing.
WhatsApp will officially announce this important change when it is 100% ready to be officially launched, so it remains to be seen when everything will be ready.
