The Romanian government, through CNCAV, announced that today the largest batch of Pfizer BioNTech vaccines sent by the manufacturer will arrive in Romania today, and the doses will be distributed to centers throughout the country to be used in the vaccination centers.

The Romanian government had already announced on Tuesday that it expects to receive doses of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine in very large quantities in April, and we see that the delivery schedule is proceeding according to plan, and this means that the vaccination campaign should also proceed without problems.

Vaccine doses will be distributed as follows:
Bucharest National Storage Center: 171.990 doses;
Brașov Regional Storage Center: 66.690 doses;
Cluj Regional Storage Center: 76.050 doses;
Constanța Regional Storage Center: 58.500 doses;
Craiova Regional Storage Center: 33.930 doses;
Iași Regional Storage Center: 45.630 doses;
Timisoara Regional Storage Center: 58.500 doses.
Until this moment, our country has received 2.863.439 doses of vaccine produced by the Pfizer company, and 2.641.069 have already been used to immunize the population."
