Announcement from the Government of Romania regarding the Lifting of Movement Restrictions

The Government of Romania announces the Lifting of Movement Restrictions

The Government of Romania, through the voice of the Prime Minister, announced today when the night travel restriction should be lifted, which in some localities is imposed from 22:00 p.m., while in others it is imposed from 20:00.

The Romanian government says that only when the number of 5 million Romanians vaccinated against the Corona virus is reached, the limitation of travel at night can be lifted, at the moment a little over 3 million people have been vaccinated with at least one dose.

The Romanian government would like, in practice, to lift this restriction on travel at night sometime after June 1, when it is expected that we will reach, or almost reach, 5 million people vaccinated against the Coronavirus, so we still have a long way to go.
