Those from Orange continue the recommendations aimed at teaching customers from all over Romania how to try to protect the planet, and this in the conditions where a campaign to reduce carbon emissions to protect the climate has started all over the world.
In recent months, Orange has made recommendations to customers in Romania to show them methods aimed at at least partially reducing energy consumption, and now a similar one is coming for us. Those from Orange recommend that when we have a reliable Wi-Fi network around us, we should connect to it in order not to use the mobile network and reduce the energy consumption that the phone registers.

Orange makes this recommendation because phones, tablets, laptops, etc., consume less energy when they are connected to Wi-Fi networks compared to when they use mobile networks. The difference in consumption between the two modes of use is large, and this leads to more frequent charging of mobile terminals, so using Wi-Fi networks more often than usual can reduce this energy consumption.
Orange comes with this recommendation for all customers, but any Romanian can do the same thing, and even if 1/2 people do not feel a change of this kind, when it comes to millions of people, the situation is different. If you are not interested in saving the planet, then it is good to know that the recommendation will help you get a much better autonomy from your phones and tablets, it can even increase by 1/2 hour of use, depending on how you use them.
