DSU is trying to help Romanians from all over the country to figure out if they are affected, or not, by the heat wave that is melting Romania during this period, and below presents some very clear signs that show us if we are, or not, in danger.
DSU says very clearly what Romanians who have spent too much time in the sun, or in areas with very high temperatures, must pay attention to, the problems can be extremely serious for many people, especially the elderly.
"After rain comes sunshine. Sometimes, however, too much sun and heat is not good for us. Heatwave can affect us all and it is important to recognize its signs to take immediate action (save this post):
Muscle cramps associated with excessive sweating, fatigue, thirst
Heat exhaustion manifested by dizziness, weakness, nausea, vomiting and headache
Heat stroke and heat shock: temperature over 40 degrees, absence of sweating, confusion, agitation, speech disorders, delirium, convulsions
If you have these symptoms stay in a cool place, take a shower and hydrate. Get medical help if symptoms worsen or persist!”
