The Romanian government has issued a new warning through its cyber security agency, CERT-RO, regarding the provision of bank card data to unknown persons, something that should be on everyone's mind now.
The Romanian government is trying to protect us from the problems that arise in such situations, and this is because the provision of this data can generate money losses among those who provide it.
"How many times have you taken a decent amount of time to check where you're going to enter your card details online?
To receive money in the account WE DO NOT HAVE TO PROVIDE THE CARD DATA, but rather the IBAN code, which leads to the identification of the account!
An awareness campaign against online fraud attempts, carried out by CERT-RO, the Romanian Police and the Romanian Association of Banks.
