Huawei: The RADICAL measure that surprised a lot of people

Huawei wonder

Huawei took a lot of people by surprise with a radical measure that it had to impose, one that everyone should know about because it is not something taken very lightly, but it has a great impact. Huawei has decided to double the percentage of components used in the phones it sells, so that in the newest of them, 60% of the integrated components are Chinese, not produced by partners from other countries, as before.

Huawei was forced to take such a radical measure because of the extremely big problems that were brought by the sanctions imposed by the USA, so that now the company is rethinking many of its products. As part of this process, those from Huawei are starting to use more components that are produced in China by various partners, even if they are not as efficient as those that are produced by American partners.

Huawei, as you can see in the image above, was forced to use new components from Chinese manufacturers, but this did not lead to a decrease or increase in the production price of the Mate 40 phone. It has almost 60 % of the accounts bought from Chinese partners in relation to the Mate 30, and the percentage could increase even more in the Mate 50 so that the phone can be sold without problems all over the world by the company.

Huawei could remove 50G connectivity from the Mate 5 in order to be able to sell its phone wherever it wants, and of course not all fans will be satisfied, but at least they will be able to buy the phones. Huawei has found alternatives for the components it buys from Western partners, even for the Google Play Store, but none of these alternatives are as good as what was offered to it in the past, but maybe the US will change its mind the sanctions.

Huawei should launch the Mate 50 series in the fall of this year with many changes, but it is possible that everything the phone will offer will be inferior to what the competition has.
