WhatsApp has officially revealed a change hidden until recently in the application for phones and tablets, this being officially announced for launch even by the president of the company. We are talking about a new special feature that WhatsApp is launching to allow some users to discover companies that have accounts on the platform to chat with people, sell products, and whatever else they need right now.
WhatsApp surprises with this very important change, and that's because although it was discovered in full testing some time ago, it's only now being offered publicly. The president of WhatsApp announced that for now the new directory in which companies that are active on the platform can be searched and found is available exclusively for Brazil, with other countries to be added in the not too distant future by the Americans.
WhatsApp: Important Function HIDDEN Until Now in Phones
WhatsApp, as you can see in the image above, will offer us several options to discover if a business near us is available to be contacted through the messaging platform. Those at WhatsApp allow us to discover the businesses around us based on our location, but also theirs, so there is an option right at the top of the user interface that allows us to list them based on this detail.
WhatsApp also offers the possibility to see information about the companies on the platform included by category, only here we have to look in alphabetical order at all the companies that are listed. This method of discovering companies is not exactly easy, but at least we can search for companies that are very far away from us, so it remains for each of the users to decide how they want to find the companies that are available on the WhatsApp platform.
WhatsApp has not yet said when it will publicly launch this new functionality, so we still have a long time to wait until everything is revealed publicly.
