Minister of Education: Last Minute Measures Announced for Schools

The Minister of Education Last Time Measures Announced Schools

The Minister of Education spoke about a series of new measures that have been taken for schools all over the country, and this is because they are extremely important and aim at the way in which the test sets are assembled from the separate components that the authorities have already received .

The Minister of Education talks about the fact that these sets are delivered in sterile bags for students, but also about the procedure that is applied in the situation where a student has symptoms of infection, but the test is refused, and who must notify the DSP in this situation .

"In Romania, the testing is not mandatory when there are available teaching staff and conditions in the school to ensure the testing, it will be done in the school, I emphasize, with the consent of the parents. Where it cannot be done in school, they will be distributed to the students, and they can be administered at home, under the supervision of the parents, of course the consent of the parents is no longer needed.

I like to believe that the Ministry of Health, which has already promoted, and is available in the Official Gazette, the instruction which provides including the method of administration of these tests, in the conditions in which it was known which tests are being purchased, will also get involved because medical staff from schools, where they exist, to get involved in this testing method.

The Secretary of State who is at the ME headquarters filmed a procedure for assembling the individual test kits, in which in one minute he managed to assemble a set of 2 tests with all the components, and to add the certificate to be confirmed and the instructions. He used sterile gloves, and sterling ziplock bags, the kits being delivered in sterile ziplock bags, not in napkins.

If a child shows specific symptoms and refuses the test, that child will no longer have access to the physical presence in the school for 14 days, according to the legal provisions in force. The first person who notices these symptoms is the parent, the second person is the educator, the teacher, the teacher, who interacts with the children.

A responsible teacher notifies, if a child has specific symptoms, both the parent and the staff designated for health safety at the school level, and notifies the DSP, probably through the latter, because there is a contact person in each school with DSP."
