Ministry of Education: Last Minute Measures with Changes in All Schools

The Ministry of Education is talking about a series of very important measures that are meant to bring about very big changes in all schools in Romania, they are part of the government program assumed at the end of November by the new government that is now in office.

The Ministry of Education presents below all these measures, they being detailed in the hearing that took place at the end of November in the Parliament for the ministers who then assumed the portfolios they lead at the moment.

"We have high hopes in the government program that we presented, which is the structure, in summary it is primarily about the structural problems that are defined and recognized in the government program. It is about the values that the education system should focus on, i.e. equity, excellence, integrity, well-being, professionalism, respect, flexibility, diversity, transparency and collaboration.

After that, it continues with the desired ones from the perspective of the Educated Romania project, desired ones that have benefited from a broad assumption. The first would be quality education for all, the second individualized education and diversity, the third autonomy and critical thinking, the fourth responsibility and integrity, key values assumed in this program.

The model of the teacher in the formation of the student is and will remain the most powerful pedagogical tool. The teacher will never be replaced from the school, I assume this information, even if the attributes that will stand behind the teacher attribute are evolving, as we well know, including from the perspective of digital education.

The sixth desired is the allocation of sufficient resources in a transparent and fair manner for education. The seventh desired consists in safe and healthy schools, the eighth in an attractive education system that can capitalize on all opportunities for international collaboration, the ninth, a professional educational management based on responsibility.

Tenth, collaboration and stability for a resilient education system. The strategic objectives of the government program are the revision of the normative framework to provide coherence, predictability and stability to the system, the second is the rethinking and professionalization of the education system in accordance with the public administration reform.

The third, the creation of a coherent system of evaluation of the education system, and in the education system, the fourth, the digitization of the educational process and the interconnection of databases, the fifth, a social inclusion program and the provision of equal opportunities in education to prevent dropout early school."
