The Romanian government talks to Romanians about the importance of technologies based on artificial intelligence for many areas of life, so the decision was made to initiate the process for the development of a Strategy regarding artificial intelligence in our country.
The Romanian government finally reaches a technology that in Western countries is the basis of many technological developments, but also the basis of the decisions taken to improve the daily life of the citizens.
"Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă: Technologies based on Artificial Intelligence can significantly influence all major sectors of activity and I am convinced that in Romania it can generate important benefits not only for business, but also for education, health or the security of citizens.
At the governmental level, we are working on the creation of the National Strategic Framework for AI, which will be the basis for positioning Romania as a leader in the field. I know that we have capable Romanians, we have talented young people at home, but also scattered around the world and we want to gather them in joint projects.
That is why I appreciate the initiative of Romanian Business Leaders, which, through the specific project Repatriot AI, initiated the process of developing the Strategy on Artificial Intelligence, and I wish success to the participants in the event "Artificial Intelligence - source of development for Romania"!"
