The WHO sent a last-minute warning to billions of people around the world, and we are talking about something that should be known to everyone, and this is because the organization acknowledges in a press release that the current vaccines against the Coronavirus have limited ability to protect immunized individuals.

The WHO says that current vaccines offer strong protection against severe forms of the disease and hospitalization, but when it comes to symptomatic infection, the vaccines do not offer as much protection in the case of the Omicron variant as in the case of the initial variants, for which they were designed by otherwise the current mRNA vaccines, and not only that.

The WHO confirms the fact that new vaccines are in the development process to offer increased protection, including in the case of the Omicron variant of the Coronavirus, they are in the clinical testing phase, and only after this process is completed will it be possible to proceed to an analysis of the data provided by the manufacturers, and an approval or rejection of their certification.

The WHO issued an official information regarding the current situation after information appeared in many countries regarding the fact that the current vaccines no longer offer protection against the symptomatic forms of the disease generated by the Coronavirus, and therefore it is still recommended to use protective measures even by the vaccinated.
