The Minister of Defense of Russia, Sergei Shoigu, spoke for the Russian Persian about the nuclear weapons that the country should have, but also about what Putin intends to do with them in the war in Ukraine, stating that the purpose of this type of weapons is to to prevent a nuclear attack by another country.
Sergei Shoigu says that Vladimir Putin currently has no plans to attack Ukraine with nuclear weapons, and their use would be an extraordinary measure, that is, only when the existence of Russia would be endangered, something that cannot be taken into account, for that no one wants Russia to disappear, even if it attacked Ukraine.
The Minister of Defense of Russia reassures many people with his statements, and this is because in recent months there have been many rumors about Russia's plans to use nuclear weapons, but in the end there is no desire to initiate a nuclear war from which absolutely no one would have anything to gain.
"The main purpose of Russian nuclear weapons is to deter a nuclear attack. Its use is limited to extraordinary circumstances that are defined in Russian guidance documents."
