LAST TIME Meteorological Warning Transmitted by ANM Today Romania

A last-minute meteorological warning was sent by ANM, the National Meteorological Administration for many regions in Romania, and this is because the meteorologists decided to issue a yellow code of atmospheric instability for September 10.

ANM says within this yellow code that in Romania torrential rains with electrical discharges and isolated hail will be recorded in the regions of the map below, the amounts of water being significant, but varied, depending on the region of the country where the rains are recorded.

CODE YELLOW WEATHER ALERT!

Targeted phenomena: temporarily increased atmospheric instability, significant amounts of water.

Validity period: 10 September, 10:00 – 10 September, 23:00.

Affected areas: as per text and map.

During the mentioned interval, in Maramureș, Moldova, Dobrogea, locally in the north of Transylvania, in Muntenia and in the mountains, there will be periods of torrential showers. In the southeastern regions, in the afternoon and at the beginning of the night there will be frequent electrical discharges, wind intensifications and isolated hail. In short periods of time or through accumulation, water quantities will locally exceed 25...30 l/sq m and in limited areas 40...50 l/sq m.

Note: Manifestations of atmospheric instability will be in smaller areas and in the rest of the country.
