Minister of Energy: LAST-HOUR announcements with Major Impact for Romanians!

Minister of Energy Announcements LAST TIME Impact Major Romanians!

Through a last-minute announcement, the Minister of Energy sends an extremely important message for millions of Romanians throughout the country, and this is because it brings to people's attention the discussions regarding cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan, a country on which Romania relies for its energy security.

The Minister of Energy also talks about the way in which the price of electricity is currently influenced in the country, and this is because both the war and production fluctuations bring important changes for it, and it is good for Romanians to know what is happening in this moment.

"These days I am in Kazakhstan, together with Marius Budai - the Minister of Labor and Social Protection and several colleagues from the Government, to participate in the 16th session of the Romanian-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission for commercial-economic cooperation and technical-scientific, of which I am co-president together with my counterpart Bolat Akchulakov.

Romania and the Republic of Kazakhstan have a history of over 30 years of diplomatic relations. Kazakhstan is a key partner in Central Asia – a global gateway by definition, which has the potential to become an important transit route between Asia and Europe. Today I had a working meeting with Almassadam Satkaliev, the president of CN Samruk-Kazyna Holding, which includes companies in the oil and gas, transport and logistics sectors, as well as in the chemical and nuclear industry, in the metals, energy and real estate sectors .

We discussed future possibilities for strengthening bilateral and commercial relations, for investments in the field of energy, but also in the chemical, pharmaceutical and plastic industries; electronics and electrotechnics; agriculture and food industry and others. HE Ambassador Nurbakh Rustemov and State Secretary George Niculescu also participated in the discussions.

The price is influenced, and the price of electricity is influenced by that of natural gas. As we see a decrease in the price of natural gas, and now we see a slight decrease in it, we also see a decrease in the price in the following days in the energy spot market. Obviously, when we talk about renewable energy, moreover, we see a decrease in prices on all European exchanges.

Ordinance 119, adopted by the Government, is in force, it is under parliamentary debate, it passed the Senate, the debates in the Chamber of Deputies are following. We have capped the price for the population, for those who consume up to 100 kWh, that social tariff is 0.68 bani/kWh, for those who consume up to 300 kWh monthly, we have 255 bani for the first 80 kWh."
