Extremely IMPORTANT E.ON information for which Romanian Customers are notified

Extremely IMPORTANT E.ON Information Notice to Romanian Customers

E.ON, one of the most important companies on the energy market in Romania at the moment, officially informs customers about what they must do when they have been notified that the operator distribution of their services failed to read the meter.

E.ON explains below the fact that in this situation, it is mandatory to follow the steps that are mentioned in the notification in order to allow the operator to read the consumption correctly, and this is because based on it, the regularization invoice is also issued on which the company send it to us at certain periods for payment.

If we don't let the distribution operator do the consumption reading, then there is a risk that an invoice that represents reality will not be issued, which of course can put us in the situation of paying more, or less, than what we actually have to be paid at E.ON Romania, and this is not exactly a situation anyone wants to be in.

E.ON Romania is not the only company from which we see messages of this kind at the moment, and this is because there are other companies that supply energy in Romania, and that recommend their customers to act in the same way to be sure of the fact that they correctly pay the invoices issued.

If you have been notified that the Distribution Operator (DO) in the area of your place of consumption has NOT been able to read the meter, please follow the steps mentioned in the notification to schedule a new reading or submit the index.

Otherwise, you risk issuing an estimate invoice that does not accurately represent the consumption achieved or even disconnection from the supply of your place of consumption.
