The Romanian Army has officially announced a very large military exercise taking place in Romania under the name JUNCTION STRIKE 23, involving NATO soldiers from Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the USA, and its importance is very high.

The Romanian Army says that we are talking about soldiers of the Romanian Special Operations Forces, who are involved in these military exercises, and they will receive a certification based on the results they obtain during the exercises in which they will participate.

Special Operations Forces Exercise "JUNCTION STRIKE 23"! The JUNCTION STRIKE 2023 (JUST 23) exercise, the largest military exercise of the Romanian Special Operations Forces, takes place, between May 8-18, in training facilities of the Romanian Army and in the areas around the towns of Babadag, Bacău, Câmpia Turzii , Constanța, Cincu, Deda, Mangalia, Mărăcineni, Mihail Kogălniceanu, Răstolița, Reghin, Târgu-Mureș, Tulcea and Ungheni.

This exercise, in which more than 500 Romanian soldiers and approximately 100 land, air and naval technical means are engaged, ensures the organizational conditions for the execution of training as realistic as possible, based on a fictitious scenario, by the participating tactical and operative level structures, in multinational and inter-institutional format.

The main purpose of this complex exercise is to certify three NATO capability targets – a maritime Special Operations Forces group, a land Special Operations Forces group and a rotary-wing Air Special Operations detachment.

Together with the Romanian soldiers from the special operations forces structures, they will train and carry out leadership-coordination actions of their own forces and about 100 foreign soldiers from allied countries such as Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the United States of America.

Military personnel from partner countries such as Georgia, Jordan and the Republic of Moldova will also participate in the activity as observers.
