Minister of Health Application Measures LAST TIME Romania Primary Health Care

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, took a new extremely important decision, and this is because he decided to sign a new order regarding primary medical care, order number 1.763 ensuring the continuation of its provision in the permanent centers that were previously created by authority.

The Minister of Health promised the Romanians that more permanent centers will be available in Romania, which will offer them the primary medical care they need, so we are talking about very important news that are meant to show us that the authorities in the country care about people who need help.

"The methodological norms regarding ensuring the continuity of primary medical care through the permanent centers, approved by the Order of the Minister of Health no. 774/2023, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 234 and 234 bis of March 22, 2023, with subsequent amendments and additions, are amended as follows: Article 3, paragraph (3) is amended and will have the following content.

The list of permanent centers established based on the areas and criteria proposed by the public health departments, according to art. 4 para. (1) from Law no. 263/2004 on ensuring the continuity of medical care through the permanent centers, with subsequent amendments and additions, is provided in annex no. 1. Article 5, paragraph (4) is amended and will have the following content.

The training courses in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, provided for in para. (3), are organized by the county and Bucharest city public health departments in partnership with the territorial branches of the College of Physicians from Romania and the Order of General Medical Assistants, Midwives and Medical Assistants from Romania. Article 13, paragraph (1) is repealed. In article 13, paragraph (2) is amended and will have the following content: The establishment act of the permanent center is the decision to establish the permanent center, issued by the executive director of the county public health department or of the municipality of Bucharest only after including to it in annex no. 1.

Article 13 paragraph (3), letter a) is repealed. Article 33, point 1 is amended and will have the following content. Indicators reported monthly by the emergency center to the public health department: the number of people who presented themselves in the emergency center, adults/children; the number of people who presented themselves in the emergency center for a condition that was not a medical emergency, adults/children.

Number of persons for whom consultation was ensured, adults/children; the number of people for whom treatment was provided, adults/children. The number of people for whom emergency crew/ambulance was requested, adults/children; number of medical letters issued for adults/children. Appendix no. 1 is amended and replaced by the annex*) which is an integral part of this order."
