Austria: UN Officially Increases PRESSURE, Last Minute Announcement, Targeted Romania and Schengen

Austria UN Increases Official PRESSURE Announcement LAST TIME Romania Schengen Targets

Austria feels pressure not only from within the European Union regarding its radical measures taken recently, and this is because the UN is currently increasing the pressure, and is making a series of very important requests to the European Commission, which could seriously affect Romania's accession to Schengen, if they will be accepted.

Austria wants illegal migrants to have their asylum applications processed at the borders of the EU, in third countries, and that they are not allowed to enter the Schengen countries, but the UN demands the exact opposite, for the protection of refugees, fast asylum procedures in the countries within EU, a fair asylum system, but also a repatriation in dignified conditions, not quickly, forced, and at any cost.

Austria now has another opponent regarding the reform of the asylum system in the European Union, and this is because the UN advocates for a completely different approach to the migration problem, but in the case of Romania, the accession depends on the fulfillment of the Austrian objectives regarding Schengen, not on the of the UN.

"UNHCR is focusing its efforts, continuously advocating for fair and speedy asylum procedures. Ensuring access to territory and addressing human rights violations at borders are essential for a fair and functioning asylum system. Fair and effective asylum procedures, together with an effective solidarity mechanism, create a system that works for both refugees and states.

Another equally important part is the dignified return for people who wish to return to their countries of origin or who do not need international protection. Longer-term reforms are needed "to ensure an EU that better protects refugees wherever they come from."
