Nicolae Ciuca 2 IMPORTANT Announcements Target ALL Romanians Country

Nicolae Ciuca, the president of the PNL, sends 2 very important official announcements aimed at all Romanians in the country, and this is because, first of all, it brings to people's attention a new law that entered into force just yesterday, after it was promulgated by Klaus Iohannis, and which is of major importance.

Nicolae Ciuca also talks below about the feast of Saint Elijah, one of the most important holidays in our country, in which many Romanians had a day off, and you can read more details about what is happening right now below , if you are interested in this.

"The law amending the Criminal Code, which I initiated together with the former Minister of Internal Affairs, Lucian Bode, was promulgated today by the President of Romania and entered into force. An increase in punishment is brought for acts committed from a position of force, an increased degree of protection is offered to judges and prosecutors, and more protection is provided to citizens in the public space.

As immediate effects, we will see fewer acts of force against the victim and a reduction in anti-social and violent behaviour. The most important provision brought to the Penal Code is the one through which people in a vulnerable situation benefit from more protection from the law.

We refer here including to children and the sick who were abused by people who took care of their maintenance or care. Now, these vulnerable categories are better protected, as a result of the application of an increase of one third of the sentence for the perpetrator who takes advantage of the limited reaction capacity of the victim. The new changes bring a greater degree of protection to all citizens. Through the new form of the Penal Code, every Romanian is safer.

Today, July 20, we mark a double celebration, the day of the Holy Prophet Elijah the Tesvitean, celebrated by the Orthodox faithful, but also the Day of Aviation and the Air Force. Since the beginning of aviation, Romanians have played a pioneering role: Traian Vuia, Aurel Vlaicu or Henri Coandă are famous names in the first incursions of mankind by air.

At the same time, it is also the celebration of those who showed a spirit of sacrifice, professionalism and patriotism, through which they managed to inspire the generations of aviators who came after them. I mention here Smaranda Brăescu, Constantin Cantacuzino, Tudor Greceanu, Marina Știrbei, Horia Agarici. The quality of Romanian pilots today is due to their example. Through the work of generations, we have come a long way from our military's first air station in 1893 to the cutting-edge technology of the F-16."
