Minister of Health 2 New Official Announcements LAST MINUTE Serious Measures All Romania

The Minister of Health sends 2 new official last-minute announcements with measures for all of Romania, and this is because an achievement is brought to the attention of all people that Alexandru Rafila brings to our attention, and this is because the emergency reception units will have equipment last generation telemedicine.

The Minister of Health has supported this very important project, on various occasions, he is now receiving the funding he needs, and separately from that, Alexandru Rafila also talks to us about the need to change the way in which the hospitals in Romania will be financed, because those who need more money, to receive it.

"Emergency reception units (UPU) will be equipped with state-of-the-art telemedicine equipment. The Ministry of Health completed the international tender for the purchase of equipment for the national emergency telemedicine system, and the contract for their installation was signed today.

131 Emergency Reception Units (UPU) and Emergency Reception Departments (CPU) in county, municipal and city hospitals will be equipped with IT equipment (hardware and software), data communication systems (audio and video), specific medical equipment and devices and other equipment to ensure the necessary infrastructure for communication with regional emergency telemedicine centers (Bucharest, Tg. Mureș, Timișoara and Iași).

The main role of the telemedicine system is to facilitate the provision of remote specialist consultations for patients who present themselves at emergency units/compartments, i.e. the provision of rapid diagnosis and decisions regarding the treatment and transfer of patients between health facilities. The system will ensure the transmission of data (audio and video) in real time. The project with a total value of 6.5 million lei is implemented by the Ministry of Health through the World Bank project.

We will work to make some criteria, maybe I didn't understand well, so that we can identify the hospitals that are currently carrying the burden of the Romanian health system in terms of the number of cases and the complexity of the cases they solve.

Obviously, these hospitals also need a different staffing standard compared to hospitals that solve only trivial cases or that refer, send patients with more complex pathologies to these first-line hospitals and, of course, the financing method of these hospitals must be rethought."
