The VISA company initiated a project together with the New Jersey authorities that will allow iPhone owners to pay for any subway trip between certain routes using their own Apple terminal. The compatible iPhone terminals have a special mounted transmitter (probably with the help of a special case) and transmit the necessary payment information to a toll machine using an application made by VISA. Practically everything goes like a video clip above, you arrive at a subway entrance, start the application and pass your phone in front of the reader and make the payment automatically. Simple, easy, hassle-free and easy to find in your pocket.
This is just one of the projects for smartphones that VISA will initiate in the next period. Others are expected that will allow the payment of goods directly with the phone and probably in a few years it will become a standard in the USA and credit cards will be surpassed.
si in bucuresti exista un sistem asemanator implementat de Orange si Metrorex, dai sms la nush ce numar si aia iti trimit un cod de bare si un numar (parca, sa ma contraziceti daca nu-i asa) si ori arati poza la aparatul amplasat la portile de intrare in statie ori scrii codul. Mie mi se pare chiar mai destept asta Bucurestean.
Da, e si la noi in cateva statii. Mai misto la noi e ca eu, de exemplu, am putut trimite codul meu de bare unui prieten care nu avea cartela sau bani la el, si astfel a putut intra la metrou.
super tare vad ca tehnologia avanseaza din ce in ce mai repede…..sunt curios ce functii o mai avea iphone 5 sau cum va arata iphone 6…dar 7?? va dati seama ???….
foarte entuziast :)), dar nu cred ca va fii cinestie ce (gen conceptul celor de le Mozilla). Probabil ca se va cauta subtierea terminalului si updatarea continua si extinderea specificatiilor existente in terminalul actual..
