La Google I/O-ul de luna trecuta cei de la Google au anuntat ca vor actualiza aplicatia Google Earth si vor include module 3D ale oraselor de pe glob, iar in cursul acestei zile aplicatia actualizata va fi disponibila in App Store. La fel ca si sistemul FlyOver din aplicatia Maps a iOS 6, noua versiune a Google Earth va afisa modulele 3D doar pe iPhone 4S, iPad 2 si iPad 3, deci nu toti utilizatorii se vor putea bucura de el. Pentru inceput Google Earth va afisa 14 regiuni/orase, insa pana la sfarsitul anului 300 de milioane de oameni vor fi acoperiti de noul modul 3D.
Google today is updating its Google Earth app on Apple’s platform to include the same 3D imagery it showed off in early June. That same feature rolled out to users on Google’s Android in late June.
iOS users are getting those same 14 regions, including Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston and others. As Google adds more 3D cities to its database, both those platforms will get them at same time.
