iPhone users are the most loyal to the brand

A recent one opinion poll carried out on approximately 2500 people from several countries around the globe reveals the fact that the owners of iPhone terminals are the most inclined to purchase another iPhone in the future. The owners of terminals equipped with Windows Mobile are at the bottom of the ranking, having the greatest "willingness" to change their terminal at the next purchase. This survey reveals that 59% of iPhone owners would buy another iPhone, 35% of BlackBerry owners would also buy such a terminal, 28% of Android terminal owners would make the same choice on their next purchase and only 24% of owners of Nokia terminals would choose such a smartphone in the future.

"If a phone doesn't do what it says it will do or what the owner hopes it will do, the maker will lose loyalty," GfK analyst Ryan Garner told Reuters. Garner explained that people tend to "buy into experiences at the high-end level."

75% of those asked said that for the next purchase they are thinking of buying another smartphone model and the main thing they are guided by is the operating system. Unfortunately for Apple, the percentage of 59% represents a decrease of 14% compared to the value of 73% recorded this summer, so the scandals related to the iPhone 4 have seriously affected the image of the company and the product.

My opinion is that surveys are surveys and in the end people will buy according to money/needs, so it's very possible that the numbers don't look that bad in reality.
