Apple, WWDC 2011, iOS 5 and iPhone 5

Last night Apple a announced that between June 6-10, 2011, WWDC 2011 will take place, the largest conference of iOS and Mac OS X application developers. Year after year, during this conference, Apple presented a new version of the iOS operating system, but also a new version of the iPhone terminal. You probably read it last night concern expressed by many experts who claim that in the summer Apple will not present the iPhone 5, the launch will take place only in the fall of this year. According to them, even iOS 5 will not be presented then, because at WWDC it will be presented to the whole world for the first time.

It is true that this year Apple seems to have skipped a stage in terms of iOS because it will no longer hold a conference in April to present the new operating system. Considering that he will not hold this conference, it is very possible that he will not release a beta version of iOS 5 until June when he will make the official presentation at WWDC. If things will stay like this then it is very possible that Apple will send the testing process of iOS 5, release a beta version on June 6 and by the end of the month release the final version. Apple has a history of releasing the main versions of iOS and personally I don't think it will postpone the release of iOS 5 until mid-July 2011 at the latest. Apple keeps to tradition but also has to take into account the competition. I for one believe that the postponement of the preview is due to some essential changes made to the operating system, changes that will only be presented in June, shortly before the launch.

It was rumored that the iPhone 5 will only be released in the fall because Apple did not say anything about it in the announcement for WWDC. It is true that Apple only talks about iOS and Mac OS X, but what is iOS 5 without iPhone 5? What would the new functions of iOS 5 be of use if they didn't have a hardware support on which to run without problems? Again we are talking about tradition, again we are talking about competition and Apple will release the iPhone 5 in the summer because it has organized its entire calendar according to these releases and people have organized their lives/funds according to the same criteria. I don't think that Apple will decide to postpone the launch of iPhone 5 until the fall, because it would have a lot to lose in terms of sales of the iPhone 4 terminal, which will decrease significantly until WWDC 2011, where the iPhone 5 is expected.
