iPad 3 with 3D screen next year?

The era of 3D technology started at least 2 years ago, but on mobile terminals we are just starting to see some timid attempts to implement the technology. LG took the first step, but other large manufacturers of mobile terminals could follow in the near future. Among them could be Apple, which, according to a American site, would intend to implement 3D technology in the iPad 3 tablet. The website in question cites sources from the film industry but also sources from within the Foxconn company which apparently confirmed that Apple is testing 3D technology for the iPad.

"The fact that the iPad 3 is 3D is a dead cert," one Hollywood insider close to the big movie studios told RCR, adding that the screen would be the real magic. She went on to say that the big film studios were currently running around like blue arsed flies trying to gear up to release plenty of 3D content in time for Apple's next launch.

Even if it's a rumor, I'm 100% sure that Apple is testing the possible implementation of 3D technology in the iPad 3 tablet. Even if in the end the tablet won't have a screen capable of playing 3D images without glasses or there won't be cameras capable of filming 3D, Apple test these things though. They test a lot of concepts in their own iDevices, but only what is 100% safe reaches the market, only what needs to be launched because it is not good to offer too much "at once" to their customers.
