iWidgets is a platform launched during this night in Cydia, and through it you can install HTML widgets in the Springboard of your iDevices. The platform comes with two ready-made widgets, they display a clock and a calendar, but I'm sure that soon others will be available to us. In the iOS settings menu there is a submenu where you can activate the widgets, you can activate the possibility to interact with them, but for now we are talking about a product that is limited both in terms of functionality and the number of available widgets.
Dashboard X offers much more from this point of view, but it also consumes more resources, and I think iWidgets can be a replacement worth testing, but only if other widgets will be available in Cydia. iWidgets is available for free in Cydia's ModMyi repo.
