During the conference for the presentation of the financial results for Q1 2013, Tim Cook submitted Apple's achievements in a new light, and I was slightly surprised by their approach. Cook stated that 10 iDevices were sold every second of fiscal year 2012, and in general Apple does not present its achievements by making such unusual comparisons. However, if it is let's compare the results for Q1 2013 with Cook's statements, then we learn that in every second of the last 3 months, 6 iPhones and 3 iPad tablets were sold, totaling 70.7 million tablets and smartphones.
In the previous fiscal quarter, there were 90 days in which Apple sold products, and at a quick calculation we have 7,776,000 seconds, and 9 iDevices sold every second.
