Apple and other large American companies demand modification of the NSA's surveillance powers

Apple, Twitter, Facebook, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Google and other large American companies collaborate to force the American government to limit its powers NSA regarding the surveillance of American citizens and not only. All these companies were recently involved in a scandal in which they were accused of providing confidential user information to NSA, and now they are demanding reform of the federal agency's status to prevent it from illegally supervising whatever it wants. Their initiative takes the form of a campaign centered around a website, there being listed the 5 most important principles for limiting the power of the NSA, the presidents of the largest companies giving their opinion on this issue.

As you already know very well, the power of the NSA is so great that the American federal agency has even spied on foreign dignitaries and heads of state, creating a huge political scandal between the US and important countries around the world. Practically all these requests of American companies are fully justified, considering that the NSA surveils hundreds of millions of people around the world, most of them being American citizens, and the previously mentioned companies are considered to be guilty of taking information about users, although in most cases they are not at fault. Under these conditions, the initiative could be successful if it is properly supported by all those who have the power to do it, but it remains to be seen how long it will take until a real change is achieved.
