U2 - Songs of Innocence registers only 2 million downloads in 4 days of free availability on iTunes

At the conference for the presentation iPhone 6 si 6 iPhone Plus the Apple company announced that it will offer the new album for free U2 – Songs of Innocence for everyone who owns one Apple ID for iTunes Store. Company Apple paid no less than 100 million dollars to be able to offer this album and to use the band's image or songs U2 to promote their new products, but it seems that the world is not really that interested in them.

According some information appeared last night, the album U2 – Songs of Innocence it registered only 2 million downloads from Tuesday until Friday evening, this in the conditions where 500 million Apple IDs have free access to it. If we were to judge Apple's decision to pay 100 million dollars to promote its terminals using the image of U2, we could say that the whole campaign started on the wrong side, but it remains to be seen how it will evolve.
