Apple disables a feature of the Health app due to displaying wrong results

  Health is a new application implemented in iOS 8 by company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for iDevice owners, it allows us to monitor various information regarding our state of health and not only that. Unfortunately the Health application however, it has a major problem in terms of measurement blood glucose level, users from Australia and Great Britain reporting numerous problems with it, so Apple decided to disable the function through an iOS update.

To prevent confusion in countries where mmol/L is commonly used, we'll soon release a software update that will temporarily remove the ability to manually enter and view blood glucose values ​​in the Health app while we work on an update to support both units of measurement.

  The problem is based on the different way of measuring the glucose level in various countries around the world, Apple taking the decision to to deactivate the system in order not to generate confusion among the users who use the application Health. Given that iOS release 8.1 will take place on October 20, it is as clear as possible that Apple will solve the problem with this update of its operating system, and if you had problems with it, you will not have to wait very long to fix it.
