SpinSettings is a tweak released during this evening in Cydia for our iDevices, and with its help we can implement one of the coolest animations for the iOS home screen of our iDevices. As you can already see from the image above, the developer of this tweak has implemented for the Settings app icon the animation that is normally displayed when updating a version of iOS. Apple implemented this animation many months ago in iOS, but it was offered a long time ago in Cydia.
To change the image that rotates, navigate to /Library/PreferenceBundles/ SpinSettingsSettings.bundle and replace 'Core.png' with an image of your liking. Please make sure that the file title of your picture remains as 'Core.png'. As a suggestion, navigate to Applications/Preferences.app and use the settings icon found there (usually called icon@xxxx.png) as a base for the new image you want to create.
SpinSettings is available for free download in the repo BigBoss of Cydia, but iOS 8.1 jailbreak is required before you can use it.
