iOS 8.2 – my first impressions of use

ios 8.2

iOS 8.2 was launched by the Apple company almost a week ago with the idea of giving application developers the opportunity to develop titles for Apple Watch using a new SDK called WatchKit. The release surprised a lot of people because it came just a few days after iOS 8.1.1 was released to users around the world, with Apple shipping things in an unusual way. I say it is unusual because for almost 4 years Apple has not released an intermediate x.2 update for its iOS, but 2014 seems to be a year of surprises from Apple.

iOS 8.2 – first impressions

iOS 8.2 it is far from being ready for release in its first beta version and I say this because compared to iOS 8.1.1 there are serious differences in terms of performance, but also functionality. Unfortunately, we noticed that when using the applications, and especially the task switcher, there are serious blocks of the animations, but we also encountered various crashes of native applications, including Safari while loading web pages. Because we are talking about a beta version, these things are as normal as possible, but if you have the opportunity to install the first beta version of iOS 8.2, I recommend you not to rush because you will not find anything great.

The good part of the update is that the battery life has not worsened, but unfortunately it has not improved either, so from this point of view you will have linear performances, easy to expect in case of an important update. Apple has not announced any improvements for the performance of old iDevices, but considering my first impression of iOS 8.2, I wouldn't hold out much hope that they will exist and I would tell you to be happy if they don't. will get worse compared to iOS 8.1.1, this version of iOS making most of the old terminals usable within the limits of decency.
