HTC One M9 – specifications revealed by a benchmark

HTC One M9 specifications

HTC One M9 is the future top of the range of the HTC company, it will be presented on March 1 in a conference that will take place in Barcelona just one day before the start Mobile World Congress 2015. We have so far seen a multitude of images of the future smartphone of the Taiwanese company, and a benchmark published today confirms some of the specifications rumored from various sources. According to this benchmark, HTC One M9 will have a 5.1 inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with 576 ppi, an octa-core Mediatek MT6795 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz next you would support the installed Android 5.0.

Separately we speak about graphics card PowerVR Rogue 6200, about 3 GB of RAM, a main camera of 19 megapixels capable of recording 4K video, a 12 megapixel front camera and that's it. HTC One M9 will not have a barometer included and based on the implemented processor, we are probably talking about a version dedicated mainly to the Asian markets and not to the global ones, where HTC will use a Qualcomm processor. In the performance tests made for this model, the results were not great, so HTC will probably want to offer something more powerful for its customers in the rest of the world, if Qualcomm has solved its problems.

The HTC One M9 will come in a market dominated by the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and since the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will be presented on the same day, things will become even more complicated. Practically from March 1, there will be 4 extremely attractive smartphones for consumers that will attract their interest, two from Apple and three from its competitors. Considering that HTC and Samsung will launch their smartphones now, they will be more powerful than Apple's, they will probably have some new functions, but it remains to be seen if they will convince consumers that they are worth buying.
