iOS beta 8.4 2 was launched this evening by the Apple company, the new version of the operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch being initially available in the form of an over-the-air software update that can be installed from terminals. The first beta version of the operating system brought us a the new Music app for which we will also have a multimedia streaming service from the summer, after a presentation at WWDC 2015.
In the first version of this update for its operating system, the Apple company did not implement any other notable changes apart from the Music application, and things will probably not be different for developers either. Those from Apple are trying to test the new Music application as well as possible before it is officially offered to all users, so probably in iOS beta 8.4 2 various performance issues have been resolved.
It is not excluded that in the US developers have prior access to 8.4 iOS beta 2 to the streaming service that will be available through this application, and if this is true, then now we will find out all the details. Unfortunately in Romania the streaming service prepared by the Apple company for iOS 8.4 it won't be available, so don't think about anything else from Cupertino because we won't receive it.
iOS 8.4 has slightly improved the performance of iOS 8.3 along with battery life, from my experience with the new version of the system, and in iOS 8.4 beta 2 I expect the improvements to continue. Considering that we are talking about an important update prepared by Apple, there are very high chances that iOS 8.4 will be the last or penultimate version of iOS 8 for iDevices, it may also be the last with jailbreak before the release iOS 9.
At the moment, iOS 8.4 beta 2 can be installed by application developers for the iOS platform through automatic download in terminals if they have an earlier version, or by downloading an ipsw from the Apple portal and installing through iTunes. Regular users can update the software if they have iOS 8.4 beta 1 installed.
