Apple Music: the audio streaming service with the social network

Apple MusicApple Music is an audio streaming service that will be presented by Apple in the framework WWDC 2015, the American company intending to implement in it a social network similar to the one Ping launched in the era of Steve Jobs. Apple Music will allow artists to create special pages that users will be able to see, where information about them, news, pictures, video clips, concert details and samples of new songs will be published.

Apple Music will allow artists to share content published by other artists, so stars will be able to promote their work extremely easily to each other to attract even more fans. Using Apple IDs, users will be able to interact with artists through comments, but the big difference compared to Ping is that users will not have their own pages in this new network.

Basically, Apple Music will be based on the artists' activity, but the interesting part is that users will be able to completely disable the information about the service in the restrictions section of iOS 8.4. As you can see from the image below, in iOS 8.4 the menu Settings > General > Restrictions now has an option called Artist Activity which allows disabling the display of notifications regarding the artists' activity in Apple Music.

Considering that Apple Music is so important, the Apple company will also launch an application for the Android platform, thus providing access to the system for hundreds of millions of people. Apple Music will also be "deeply" integrated into the Music application from iOS 8.4, users being able to import Beats Music libraries, without affecting the functionality of iTunes Match or iTunes Radio, which will also have a series of new functions.

Apple Music it brings you for users in the Music application of iOS 8.4 the possibility to create playlists and part of the organizational functions of Beats Music, everything being integrated as intuitively as possible. Apple Music will basically be an easier way to get in touch with your favorite artists and discover everything new they produce, but it remains to be seen how successful the Apple network will be.

Apple Music will be presented on June 8 at WWDC 2015, but it will officially reach users only towards the end of June, together with iOS 8.4.
