Siri has limited functionality due to Apple Music

Siri Apple MusicPersonal Assistant Crab of the Apple company has limited functionality due to Apple Music, some users finding that Apple requires the use of its audio streaming service to benefit from certain Siri options.

In the image above, you can see the response given by Siri to a user's attempt to find out what are the most popular songs in the US, the personal assistant Siri recommending to him to subscribe to Apple Music to find out, the Music application, Music being open automatically for those who are subscribers.

The strange part here is that Siri does not automatically open a Safari page with a web search to display this information to those who are not Apple Music subscribers, a sign that Apple is trying to force users to test and then subscribe to the service or streaming.

Ever since the launch of this new function of Siri, the service has been linked to Apple Music, so we are talking about a system designed to work in tandem with the new audio streaming system, so if you want to find out such information, you need Apple Music.

The Apple company has a habit of offering free functions that are partially related to paid services, so this is not the first and will not be the last time that Apple thinks only for profit.
