YouTube is developing a new application for editing video clips

YouTube will launch a new video editing application.

Company YouTube is interested in convincing more users to upload videos to its network, so it is currently testing a new application designed to ease the work of recording and editing videos before publishing them on YouTube.

Although YouTube currently has an application called Capture, offering the ability to quickly record and upload video clips to the network, it seems to have been abandoned since 2013 because it has not been updated with additional functions for users.

Without continuing that project, those at YouTube are testing a separate application that will allow the use of templates for recorded video clips, so that users do not spend too much time editing the content after it has been recorded.

Unfortunately, for now it is not known what kind of editing options the application will include, but it seems that the process of recording and publishing a video clip is much simplified compared to the current procedure available in iOS or YouTube's applications.

YouTube has begun beta testing a video creation app. The app will make use of video templates so that most of the leg work will already be done for the user without requiring too much in terms of actual editing. ...it will be easy to record a video, submit it and get it published on YouTube in just a few simple steps.

For now, YouTube is testing this application only for the iOS platform and it is not known if it will be launched on the Android platform, its appearance may increase the interest of users to publish video content on YouTube and not on Facebook, as most do.
