Facebook brings instant articles to Messenger

Facebook has announced a very important change for the platform Messenger during this evening, all the instant articles, instant articles, going to be available including in the application offered for discussions or phone calls, users going to benefit from the functionality now offered by the Facebook application.

For those of you who don't know, instant articles are a special format of Facebook posts that load much faster than the mobile pages of websites because they have most of the elements removed, the emphasis being on the text and one or a few images, the speed with which the information is displayed being very large.

At the moment, quite a few publishers use instant articles precisely because they load faster in the Facebook application, and those who will share these articles through Messenger will offer the users of this application to benefit from the same experience of fast loading of information on smartphones.

Instant articles are marked in the Facebook application with a lightning bolt that is visible at the top right of the article image, pressing them opens the article immediately, just like a menu in the application, and the change comes just a few months after this post format was launched officially by Facebook for all publishers.

The change will be available starting today for Android Messenger users and next week for iOS users, so we will have to wait a little longer until we can enjoy it.
