Facebook Live helped a prisoner present the deplorable conditions in the prison

Facebook Live was used by an inmate of Rikers prison in New York to show the whole world how deplorable are the conditions in which criminals serve their sentences in the USA, he of course using a phone that was illegally introduced into the prison, along with a the card that had active internet.

The name of the prisoner is not known, but he broadcast live from the prison via Facebook Live on July 22, the uniform, the food and the cell being presented by him, he also presenting an improvised knife that he probably uses to keep other violent criminals away, or to attack other people.

The live broadcast was seen no less than 7000 times before it was deleted from the account of the respective prisoner, and Facebook Live proved again how useful it can be to present even problems of this kind that the US prison system has at the moment.

Rikers is one of the American prisons where some of the most dangerous criminals are imprisoned, and just a few days before this Facebook Live broadcast was made, a prison guard was attacked by an inmate with a makeshift knife, which is similar to the one presented by this prisoner.

Wanna see that chop? It's a fucking scalpel. The officers feel we have no say, no rights, no freedom of speech.

Considering this demonstration of the fact that Facebook Live can be used to present even the difficult conditions of life in American prisons, we can expect that in the not too distant future other inmates will do the same, especially to insert a smartphone into - a prison seems to be an achievement within the reach of many relatives or friends of the inmates.
