Many customers who returned the Galaxy Note 7 choose the iPhone

Many of the customers who bought Galaxy Note 7 that could be replaced choose an iPhone, or the return of the money, instead of a replacement terminal.

Last week Samsung said that 90% of American customers who returned the terminals Galaxy Note 7 with defective batteries they chose an innocuous unit or another Samsung smartphone. Only 10% of these people would have chosen to receive the money back for the devices, the figures putting the Korean company in a very good situation in front of the Americans.

A study carried out the other day in the USA presents a different story, stating that in reality only 39% of former Galaxy Note 7 owners would accept a replacement unit or another Samsung terminal. Of the remaining percentages, 26% would choose to buy an Apple iPhone, and 35% would like to receive back the money paid on the terminals.

The percentage of those who would like their money back or would be willing to switch to the iPhone is much higher than the one announced by the Samsung company, which is quite worrying for Koreans. If this study represents the truth, then we are talking about a major problem for Samsung and about possible lies told by the company in the official release.

However, even if the study does not reveal the truth in a 100% proportion, then the fact that the Galaxy Note 7 continues to have problems including with new batteries must also be taken into account. If these incidents continue, then Samsung will no longer be able to convince anyone to buy its terminals and it would be proven that it lied when it said that the problems were solved.

"More than a third of those surveyed who own the phone, 1 million of which were recalled last week because of igniting batteries, say they will opt for a refund rather than a replacement model. About 35% said they would seek a refund, while 26% said they would buy an iPhone from Apple. Another 21% said they would opt for a different Samsung phone. Most telling, only 18%, or less than one in five, said they would stick with the Note 7."
