iOS 10 has the fastest adoption rate in the history of iOS, the new version of the operating system being already installed on two thirds of compatible iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. More precisely, 66.7% of iOS 10-compatible iDevices installed this version of the operating system 27 days after it was officially launched.

Although initially iOS 10 had a lower adoption rate than iOS 9, in the last week it recovered the difference and at the moment it is at the top, probably satisfied iPhone 7. iOS 10 has the fastest adoption rate in the history of iOS, convincing a very large number of users to install it, despite the fact that the first version blocked the terminals of some users.

Two separate iOS monitoring services confirm that iOS 10 has the fastest adoption rate in the entire history of Apple's operating system. This is certainly gratifying for Apple, considering that initially it was estimated that iOS 10 is not as successful as its predecessor was during the fall of 2015.

The number of terminals running iOS 10 suddenly increased a week ago, a sign that many people waited a few days for the operating system to be updated and the problems solved.

Apple expected iOS 10 to be successful, but probably didn't think it could be so big as to surpass the record set by iOS 9. Even so, the very high adoption rate for iOS 10 is a sign that users they are very interested in the update and that they are happy with it at the moment.

iOS 9.3.5 can still be installed in iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, but users do not return to the old version of iOS, a sign that iOS 10 is everything they wanted from the Apple company.
