Apple: we don't create products thinking about price

The prices of the new MacBook Pro upset many customers of the Apple company, so its managers defended them in an interview.

Many people were taken by surprise by the fact that the new MacBook Pro they have much higher prices than the previous models, and this has also reached the "ears" of Apple. In an interview given immediately after the conference, Phil Schiller, vice president of the marketing division, stated that Apple does not create products thinking about their final price.

According to Schiller, Apple creates products thinking only about the experience they offer for customers who expect quality products from Apple. In this idea, Apple claims that sometimes there is a possibility that the products have higher prices than the world expects, but this is only because the technologies implemented in the products cost so much.

Of course, Apple had nothing else to do but to defend the decision to increase the selling price of the MacBook Pro, regardless of its consequences. End customers of course have the option to ignore Apple products and force the American company to understand that sometimes its prices are unreasonably high for what the integrated products offer.

For now, the new MacBook Pro is registering good sales from Apple fans, but in a few weeks things will settle down and we will see how much the world really appreciates the new innovations and the new prices. Apple has repeatedly been criticized because of the high prices charged for its own products, and this is starting to affect sales, as has been seen in the last fiscal quarters.

"But we don't create products thinking about the final price, we create products thinking about the experience they offer and the quality people expect from Mac. Sometimes that means we have products with higher prices than people expect, but that's only because that's what it costs to create them."
