The MacBook Pro 2016 doesn't have great performance, but it does have powerful speakers

The first performance tests for the 2016 MacBook Pro appeared on the internet today, and based on what you can see, the performance is not great compared to previous models. A MacBook Pro 13 inch 2016, without Touch Bar, with Intel i5-6360U dual-core processor clocked at 2 GHz gets 6970 points in the Geekbench test.

The score is 13 points lower than that of a 2015 MacBook Pro equipped with a dual-core Intel i7-5557U processor clocked at 3.1 GHz, as they are from different generations. The difference compared to a 13-inch MacBook Pro with an Intel i5-5287U processor clocked at 2.9 GHz is only 200 points, while the difference compared to a model with an Intel i5-5257U processor clocked at 2.7 GHz is 300 points.

The difference in performance is only 7% compared to the model in the same category launched at the beginning of 2015, so the increase is insignificant for users. The Apple company did not emphasize performance with this upgrade made to the MacBook Pro series, and this is to improve battery autonomy, many people being dissatisfied with this.

Despite the fact that the performances are not excellent, the new MacBook Pro still has speakers 58% stronger than those of the previous model, even though they are smaller. Apple made some compromises with this new MacBook Pro series, and the world is complaining for now, but it will probably be amazed by the new Touch Bar and Touch ID.
