Apple opens the first Apple Store in the city of Samsung headquarters

Company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), intensifies the fight with Samsung in South Korea and will open the first Apple Store in the country, right in the city of Seoul, the location where the headquarters of the Korean company is located. The information regarding the opening of this new Apple Store comes directly from the Apple company, which confirms everything through a series of recently published job offers.

No less than 15 jobs for a new Apple Store have been published by the Apple company, all of which are located in the city of Seoul. It is not clear why Apple has avoided opening an Apple Store in South Korea for so many years, but the fight between the two companies will become more intense starting this year.

The opening of this Apple Store in Seoul will allow Koreans to buy Apple products directly from the company and not only from local partners. Mobile phone operators in South Korea sold the most iPhone terminals in the country until now, but things will change after the opening of the Apple Store, most likely in 2017.

The exact location of the new Apple Store is not known, but the Americans analyzed locations in the famous Gangnam district, but also in the Garosu-gil area, one known for shopping. Regardless of the location, it is clear that Apple intends to fight harder for Koreans' money, and Samsung will have greater competition locally.

"We're excited about opening our first Apple Store in Korea, one of the world's economic centers and a leader in telecommunication and technology, with a vibrant K-culture. We're now hiring the team that will offer our customers in Seoul the service, education and entertainment that is loved by Apple customers around the world."
